Institut Français D’archéologie Orientale (IFAO)

In1880, a decree in spired by Gaston Maspero was signed by the then French Prime Minister, Jules Ferry. It established a permanent scientific mission in Cairo. In 1907 Mounira Palace provided a prestigious setting for the institute. DT has the function of Protecting the historical Mounira Palace and the IFAO Library using HI-FOG® water mist system.
